What Are the Rules Surrounding Covid-19?

Where IS THE RESORT LOCATED?

1869 Muskoka Road 118 West Bracebridge, Ontario P1L1W8. Touchstone is located approximately 2 hours north of Toronto, an eight minute drive from the quaint town of Bracebridge. The Resort is located on the shores of, Lake Muskoka, which is known for its rugged landscape and natural splendor.

What Time is Check-In and Check-Out?

Check-In is 4pm and Check-Out is 11am.

Do You Charge a resort fee?

We charge a 8% taxable nightly resort fee. This allows unlimited access to all amenities on site.

What Amenities Do You Have On Site?

Guests have access to the dock / beach area, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach and pool towels, self-parking, high-speed wireless internet, complimentary use of non motorized waterfront equipment which includes kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. Off season, we offer snowshoes and weather permitting, an ice rink. Year round the resort offers access to our hot tub, sauna and steam room as well as 24 hours fitness center.

Do You Have A Restaurant?

The Touchstone Grill is open year round for lunch and dinner. Bob’s Boathouse Bar is open seasonally. For restaurant menus and hours of operation please refer to the “eat” page on our website.

Does The Restaurant Offer Breakfast?

Our menu is limited to lunch and dinner.

Does The Resort Have A Spa?

Yes. The Spa at Touchstone is open year round and offers a wide variety of massage and body treatments, nail services, and more. Advance reservations are highly recommended. Please email spa@touchstoneresort.com for more information. To view the spa menu please visit the “spa” page on our website.

What is Your Deposit Policy?

Standard deposit policy is equal to one night of your stay including taxes at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due upon arrival.

What is Your Cancellation Policy?

Cancellation Policy varies by season.

● June 15 – October 15: 7 Days notice required to cancel

● October 17 – June 14: 48 Hours notice required to cancel

Reservations canceled before the above deadlines will receive a full refund of the deposit. Reservations canceled after the above deadlines will result in the forfeiture of full payment of the stay. Early departures and no-shows are considered as a cancellation and are subject to forfeiture of the full payment of the stay.

Is Touchstone Resort Smoke Free?

All units at Touchstone are smoke-free. A $250 recovery fee will be charged for smoking in your room.

Are Pets Allowed?

Pets are not allowed in guest rooms.

I Left Something At The Resort. Do You Have A Lost And Found?

Yes, non-perishable items, if found, are kept for three months.

Does The Resort Have An Indoor Pool?

Touchstone offers two outdoor pools, open from mid May to mid October. There are also two outdoor hot tubs, one of which remains open year round. The sauna and steam room are open year round as well.

What Services Are Nearby?

There are a variety of services in nearby Bracebridge, located just 5-7 minutes away from the resort. This includes a number of local restaurants, movie theatre, liquor store, grocery store, and hospital.
